Christine Kreger MA LMFT ATR
Therapy for Adolescents & Adults
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist. Having received my BA in History and Art History from UCLA, I worked in the corporate world for nearly 20 years before changing careers and earning my MA in Psychology with a specialization in Art Therapy. Prior to starting my own private practice, I worked as a school counselor and as a psychotherapist in a community counseling center. I have also been an adjunct faculty member in the Art Therapy program at Phillips Graduate Institute teaching grad students about client treatment, trauma-informed therapy, and research writing.
I truly love what I do because I get the opportunity to help my clients recognize and build upon their own unique strengths. I believe that everyone has the ability to not need therapy - seriously. However, sometimes we have to go to therapy to find those tools again. We all deserve to live life on our own terms, and therapy can help us do that.
I provide individual therapy with a specialization in the following areas:
-
Depression
-
Anxiety
-
Trauma
-
Self-Esteem
-
Relationships
Credentials
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) #98448
Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB) Registration #16-347

About Me
And in case you're wondering, yes that is my dog. No, she will not be your therapist. Here's the deal: I'm not a fan of posting my image online, but knowing that people feel more comfortable having some idea of who their therapist is and what they look like, I figured Tula (my dog) would be a fair representation of me.
